Born on a dark day during a summer blizzard, The Kerosene Man looked at the doctor and said, “Smack me again and I’ll shove your hand so far up your ass you’ll be able to pick your nose from the inside.” It was an attitude that would serve him well in his formative years in the Canadian outback.

As a teenager KM seethed with repressed anger and found an outlet in the guitar. But it wasn’t until he left his home country for the wilds of the Belgian coast that his talent for six-string anger found expression. Despite the calming influence of his large breasted soul-mate his anger at the world in general continued to grow until he reached a point where a violent explosion was inevitable. That explosion was his first CD: “Wuss.” A musical rant that expressed his furious contempt for the world at large culminating in songs such as “Hell Is Other People,” “Scar Tissue,” and “Going Crazy

Fed up with the constant search for musicians The Kerosene Man went it alone on “Wuss.” When asked if he has plans of ever forming a band around his music, The Kerosene Man promptly beat the questioner to within an inch of his life. Question answered. Though mixing and mastering of “Wuss” took place at The Buzzy Studio in Ghent, Belgium.

Not one to be bound by tradition, The Kerosene Man has, since “Wuss,” released two Demo-CDs: “GFY” a continuation of the rant begun in “Wuss” featuring the blatant “GFY” and “From The Neck Up”; and “Instrumentum Infernalis”   a small collection of instrumental tracks from “Wuss,” “GFY,” and the upcoming “Anger Rising,” which promises to be his angriest release to date.

Constantly guarded by his keeper, Steven Gillespie, The Kerosene Man is at the moment a studio-only project. This decision arose from Mr. Gillespie’s feelings that KM could possibly present a danger to the general population as he tends to be uncontrollable when not playing.
